I'm sure you've heard about the 5 Singapore National Dragon Boaters, who lost their lives due to the strong currents as they were sucked into the 10m deep swirling waters under the pontoon in the Tonle Sap, Cambodia. Haix... Whenever I read news regarding the tragedy, my eyes becomes watery, life is really sooo fragile.. They were GREAT athletes, who represented Singapore & that they were the best Singapore could offer.. I salute them!

I came across this in the newspaper & I thought, it was really really true because most of us, youngsters, are busy with friends, so on & so forth, but neglected our families.. "When you are enjoying with your friends and you are busy, take some time to remember your mother and your family, and when you go home, cherish your mother. Hug your mother, say 'Ma, I'm home.' Because there will come a day when you move out or something worse will happen and you'll no longer hug your mother". I find this excerpt really true! "MUM... I LOVE YOU!"

Man can be superior to death for he is conscious of its existence. It does not take the universe in arms to crush him; a vapour, a drop of water, is enough to kill him. But though the universe should crush him, man would still be nobler than his destroyer, because he knows that he is dying, that the universe have the advantage of him; the universe knows nothing of this.

Like what one of the late paddlers, Mr. Jeremy Goh always believed: "Live our life to fullest and removing all obstacles at all costs." Its true. Its really very true. We should really do that, coz we never know what will happen the very next day. God gave us lives, coz he wishes us to live it to the fullest.. Cherish everyone around you, your friends, your families and everyone close to you because you'll never know when you'll lose them.

May the 5 great Dragon Boat Paddlers rest in peace & God bless them & their families!

Yesterday went to ITE College East SC Investiture with Wanie, on the account that my 'Gan Meii' Gladys invited me! I met Wani at Bukit Batok MRT early in the morning at 7.15am before we made our LONG journey all the way to the east side! Hahahx.. I met my councillors, AK, Sabrina, TWQ, Azrun & Amir at the 'Food Haven' Cafeteria. Then, Connie & Sumathi came down to look for us, OMG larhhh... We hugged each other, coz its after soooo many months since we last met! Miss u all loads!

Talking about the investiture, Hidayah sang a malay song! Oh goodness, her voice was magnificent! Absolutely awe-inspiring performance! I and Wanie were admiring her voice while she was singing.. Hahahax.. It was soo good that really caught mine & Wanie's attention! Had refreshments after the investiture, saw Hidayah, WAH... We hugged sooo tightly larhh! Coz its lyk I was praising her about her voice! Desmond sang well too! His voice was really nice! Didn't know he could sing so well! I was admiring his performance! I caught up with some old friends during the refreshments, had some good chat though!

Connie, myself, Wani and Jon then had lunch at KFC at Tampines, talked about our old times, during our YA days.. Missing those days loads larhh.. Where we had our Mac delivery almost every night while the rest were sleeping & snoring like PIGS... Hahahax.. Wanie left early, coz she had project to do, Jon went to meet his 'soon to be GF', Connie left home to prepare for work & I made my way back to the West...

Went Home, prepared, then went to Lot 1 for arcade yet again! Hahahahx.. Seems addicted to the Mario Game sia! Lolx.. Really larhh.. We reached there, played the 1st game, was Mario! Goodness... It seems like we cannot live without it arhh.. Lolx..

Before I end of my blog, I have some personal words for some people...

To Connie, Wanie, Jonathan Tham, Sumathi, Hidayah, Shi Jia and Jansher...
I really missed those days when we were having fun! Its been some time since we meet up altogether as a group! Think its about time we meet up yeah, maybe for clubbing? Hahaha... Meet up after I come back from Taiwan arhh!!!

To Gladys, Gim Huan, Kek Boon, Nabil and Desmond...
Warhhh... Finally step down le arhh! Hahahax.. Should be feeling elated yarhh! Lolx.. Hahahax.. Congrats on finally stepping down, enjoy life without the stress of SC! All the best & Take care guys! Cya all soon!

To 3 People...
I know we've known each other for like almost 8 years and have been through many ups and downs during our time together, braving through storms, braving through strong winds & supported each other no matter what happened. But the blow is really very hard for me to take... Give me some time to think about it.. You all might be showing fake concern, I do not know.. But really.. I need time to cool down or this issue will never ever be resolved! I'm a hot-headed person & you guys should know that.. So.. Please.. Leave me alone for awhile to clear things on my mind! Thanks..

Hmm... Its been 1/2 a month since I last blogged! Sometimes just sooo lazy to blog larhh! I also don't know why! Unlike my kaii meii meii Christabel, who is SOOOOOOO FREE that every one or two days, she changes her blog skin! Lolx.. Hahax.. No offence, but its a good thing being soo free, can slack, can relax & can do anything you like! Thats the advantage of being sooo free, I guess..

Went to Malaysia on saturday just to attend Angela's wedding solemnisation which was held yesterday morning! I wanna congratulate my "Jie" Angela & "Kor" Wen Wei first and foremost... Hahhaax.. Wish u all the best in everything u do and last long forever! Went with Javier to attend their registry then went to New York Hotel for buffet! Came back to town at about 4 plus in the afternoon! Damn larhh.. I was feeling sooo lethargic! Goodness.. I think I'm falling sick already! Dear Dear HWQ... How??? I gonna fall sick le leii... Hahahahax..

Then last night, went to Lot 1 for dinner, goodness, talking about it, I ordered two Pepper Lunch set for my dinner which cost $11! Then everyone was like.. Looking at me??? Hahahax... The serving sooo small, how to fill my stomach??? I think if it was JT or Ginger, they would order more than me larhh! Wah... I wanna cry already!!! My pocket got 1 big hole already!!! The value in my Tapz card was $30+, now left $10+... Wah.. In just 1 night ok?? 4 person using my card, in just 1 night, $20 gone just like that!!!! Can Cry sia!!!

We played the "Mario" game thingy! Hahahx.. Think I addicted to it liao! Jovina and Sherilyn was like.. MAD larhh... Oh yarhh.. Talking about Sherilyn.. Play daytona, keep banging us larhh!!!! Sia larhh... The mario game was still the best! I wanna play again!!!!!

Yes Yes Yes... I cannot wait for the Taiwan trip in December!!! I wanna go "Xi Jie" and see You Ya Yu... Wahahahhaa... Guess I'm daydreaming toooo much! But yarhh larrhh.. I guess its gonna be fun & tiring coz gotta change hotel everynight larhh!!!

I have finally stepped down as Deputy President for Dover Student Council after 8 long months of hard work.. My term in office had great memories even though it was tiring and stressful.. I really enjoyed my time and I'll never ever forget the memories we shared..

Today's Investiture was a great success! I'm really proud of my Incoming EXCOs performance.. It was absolutely fantastic! Great work! OMG... I CRIED! My tears just started flowing while I was hugging my councillors one by one! But.. Haix.. Its like, I've been protecting my councillors for so long, treated them like my babies, spoon feeded them with everything, took care of them, guided them, supported them, then now, I gotta let them go! I just cannot bear to let go of my "babies".. But.. I have to lah! No matter what, they will ALWAYS remain as my babies & I'll always be there to give them my support whenever they need it!

Now... To the "Thanks Giving" section!

To Nicholas, Sumithra, Shahidah, Aida, Elizabeth, Evon, Juliana & Hafiz.
Its been a great time working with all of you & I just wanna thank you guys for all the guidance & help you've given me during my term in office! I appreciate it! Wish you guys all the best in everything you do & take care! Keep in touch! *Sumi... Forever Partners yeah*

To Patricia, XY & Tian Siang.
I really really wanna thank the 3 of you! Without the assistance from you guys, I would not have been able to run the council.. You've always been behind me, assisting me, giving me support & you all have never failed me once! I really appreciate it! Thanks alot! Take care guys!

To Mr Timothy Choy.
Cher'... I hope I have done my very best for the council and I also hope that I've been a great assistant to you during the past 8 months. Thanks alot for the trust & faith you had in me. Hope that I've done you proud! Take care Cher' & thank you so much!

To My Incoming EXCO as a whole.
Guys... Its been a pleasure working together with all of you. I really enjoyed my time. Hope you guys will work doubly hard and fulfil my expectations I have on you! Bring Dover to a higher level, do the Council proud & DO ME PROUD... I have the faith & trust in all of you, so DON'T LET ME DOWN! All the best guys! I just wanna say, no matter what, I'll be behind you all, giving all of you the support whenever you guys need it. I also wanna apologize for being strict with you guys, I'm sorry, but I have to. Hope you guys understand!

To Jonathan.
Jon... Even though you didn't say "my" line during your speech, I understand! I hope I've given you enough guidance ever since you joined council. But, remember that I'll be glad to guide you even though I've stepped down. I've passed the baton of running the council to you. I'm putting the council in your hands. Lead the council with your own style, bring glory to it, make Mr Timothy Choy proud & make me proud. I'm always here whenever you need me. Work hard & don't let me down! Fulfil my wishes, Jon.

To Atikah & Arifin.
My successors! I hope the two of you will do your best to assist Jonathan in the running of the council. Make me proud guys! I'll always have the faith & trust in the two of you & I believe the two of you will be a better Deputy President than I was! I'm touched by the comments the both of you had for me, thanks alot! So... Be like me, don't settle for 2nd best yah! Don't let me down! I'm always behind you, giving you my support.

To Carole & Rizuan.
Carole... You've gotta learn to handle the stress a General Secretary is gonna face! OK? Its a difficult task as a Council's Secretary, I know. But be strong, face the difficulties with confidence. I have faith in you & I'll always have faith in you! Do me proud & don't let me down! Rizuan... I understand your feelings, but don't let emotions run over you. I know you won't & I have faith in you that you won't. Continue to give your utmost best to the council & I'm really really proud of you! Well Done, Rizuan! You've done me proud already, but just make me proud once more! Work hard guys!

To Sabrina & Terry.
Sabrina, I wanna praise you for being so efficient in your work. Well done. But.. I want you to give your VERY best to the council. I believe you will & I know that you won't let me down. So... Make me proud.. Terry, I wanna say that no matter what, I'm still proud of you! I'm VERY proud of you! Thank you for being so committed! Continue to work hard in Council and make me proud once more!

To Elroy, Wen Yong, Kishen & Azrun
Its time to work le... Time to give your utmost best to the council already. Cannot slack anymore! I believe that you guys won't let me down, so prove it to me that you won't. I'm proud of your commitment, but it still has room for improvement! Work hard guys! Elroy... You cannot be too soft in your approach, so its important for you to have your own stand & that aura of authority in you. I've faith in you!

To T Wei Quan, Amir & Sabri.
The 3 of you has been a Workaholic to the council so far. Never for once failed in the responsibilities I gave you. I'm very very proud of that! Great job guys! Now that the 3 of you have made it into EXCO, I hope that you'll double your hard work that you'll give to the council & don't let me down! Make me proud once more guys!
